I overall like gog as a store - everything is DRM free, a focus on fair pricing, etc.
But then there's stuff like "we're sending you a Special Discount on a game via email, but we're not telling you what the discount is until you click the link, and if you don't immediately buy it after clicking the link you can't get the discount!"
And it's really… manipulative and gross.
(I usually wait a few hours until someone posts what the discount is somewhere, but I shouldn't have to do that)

Her eyes were entrancing and I made no effort to struggle as she coiled around me.
Instead I sang a song about the stars at dawn, and how she shimmered just as heavenly - I didn't come up with it myself. I remembered it from a wandering bard, but it was appropriate.
The lamia swayed to my voice, entranced in turn; her coils tightened slightly, not wanting to let go.
"You're a strange lady," she said, "But I want to keep you."
"Likewise."
