I just found out that one of my best friends from high school killed herself last night

@lizardsquid Yes, I find some images harder to describe in words myself. I would try to name all the colors, write how they work together (contrast?) and talk about the shapes and objects (if any). I think it's interesting to think about images like that, maybe you figure out something new about it while doing that :)

There are guidelines for how to describe art for blind people, for example in museums. Found this one just now artbeyondsight.org/handbook/ac

@Jules I try to only boost stuff with alt text, and I try to only post images if I can give them alt text

but sometimes I post a toot that's like "check out how these colours go together" it's hard to come up with alt text - are there any guidelines on what to write in those cases where it's all about colours/something else solely visual?
