In which I find out that trying to fudge a significant portion of a ship is actually a bad idea and you gotta do at least a little construction. More sea practice too :3
Fun fact there seem to be very few classic krakens on artfight. Plenty of anthro creatures based on krakens, but it was tough finding a companion for this one.
re: minecraft
it's also the thing of... minecraft skins have so few pixels that you really need to work to *hint* at features using colour variation, rather than very clearly showing them - but that's for once I've got things worked out.
