My desk chair makes this really loud clonking noise every time I move too much, which is really bad because people are trying to sleep.

@theZacAttacks@cybre.space I have similar thoughts about NixOS - I really really really love having programmable configuration and deterministic OS generation, but it adds a bunch of complexities and weird problems that you wouldn't get elsewhere, so I completely understand that people wouldn't want to use it.

For the vast majority of people (including me), something like Mint is great!

@squirrel @Elizafox oh god, I just remembered - it took me an hour to get a graphical interface working in arch

@squirrel I tried arch and found it way too difficult compared to any other distro I've ever used... it felt like it constantly required work to fix other people's mistakes.

I'm always surprised at how much better I feel when I eat properly and do exercise...
