time for bed!

I'll make sure to dream of you and how lovely you are*.

(*unless you don't want me to)

My desk chair makes this really loud clonking noise every time I move too much, which is really bad because people are trying to sleep.

talkin' bout Arch +

@theZacAttacks@cybre.space I have similar thoughts about NixOS - I really really really love having programmable configuration and deterministic OS generation, but it adds a bunch of complexities and weird problems that you wouldn't get elsewhere, so I completely understand that people wouldn't want to use it.

For the vast majority of people (including me), something like Mint is great!

distros

@Elizafox I'd like to hear your thoughts on NixOS as an outsider, if you ever packaged stuff for that

@LottieVixen "cabal" isn't a technical word, it's basically just a clique/faction/cult

@squirrel @Elizafox oh god, I just remembered - it took me an hour to get a graphical interface working in arch

@squirrel I tried arch and found it way too difficult compared to any other distro I've ever used... it felt like it constantly required work to fix other people's mistakes.
