When I came out* to the group of friends I had 4 years ago, they spent all their time insulting and making fun of me, and eventually exiled me from being friends with them.
Which sucks, but... it means that when I met new people and started making new friends, I just told them my actual name, instead of my deadname, so the only people who deadname me at the moment are my family
