hey everyone, a friend is wanting to try out a VST, but they've not used digital audio software before! what would you recommend?

@nimtendogs ah, so a VST is a virtual instrument - in order to play that instrument, you'll need another program called a host/DAW (digital audio workstation)
some good ones are
* SunVox
* Reaper
* hmm actually I can't remember any others off the top of my head

Seeking resources on transgender stuff, quoted misgendering
I have just discovered that someone I know is /completely/ clueless about the concepts and terminology of the trans community and I was wanting to ask if anyone could point me to some resources to send him? He wants to learn and understand, I think, but, well, just a minute ago he didn't realize that saying """by trans men i mean guys who are women""" was insensitive, so that should give you an idea of his current knowledge.
