how to: get me to be your nbf

1. talk to me
2. cuddle me
3. be nice to me
4. repeat steps 1-3 for a while
5. tell me that you love me
6. if I say I love you too:
repeat steps 1-3 for a day
if I say I don't love you yet/only love you as a friend:
repeat steps 1-3 until I fall in love with you
7. ask me to be your nbf

disclaimer: steps will not work if I tell you no or to stop, obviously

sappy

that weird feeling when you met someone on masto and know them enough that you can't do icebreakery questions in your private chats but also don't know them well enough to just talk about random stuff

@BatElite you can meet me in person, and I'll give you 1 yen for each squid point you have!

tabletop game design idea

@vahnj fate had skills and also something similar, if I'm remembering right!

And I really like what you've got!

tabletop game design idea

@vahnj this sounds really cool!

Have you considered using a talent system instead of a skill system? (Where players come up with their own talents like "bows and arrows" or "geography", and if they can justify a talent as being relevant to a roll ("I'm shooting an arrow, so I get my bows talent" or "I'm surveying the landscape so I get geography") they get a *flat* bonus to their roll)

@typhlosion I can't believe she would do this, now _ _ express myself in the way _ want!

@dzuk@a.weirder.earth @tom yep!

to a certain extent that's ok because it means that older games don't need to be patched to support it, but it should ALSO be able to be accessed directly!!!

@dzuk@a.weirder.earth @tom it frustrates me so much because I love how the steam controller feels to use!!!!

but it's stuck in this walled off land that valve has made and it sucks!!!

really experimental music

this one is a piece based around the idea of a canon, where you have each part playing the same melody, but starting at a different point/being slower/etc

except... the starting points and speeds in this aren't based around barlines like they are traditionally! here they're based around complicated fractions and ratios:
