tabs, an experiment

@Fumon I'm streaming from google play, so there isn't a desktop client - although I could just listen to the music I've already downloaded!

tabs, an experiment

@catoutofbed@octodon.social I didn't post on that account for an entire month, though ;;

tabs, an experiment

well I've expanded to 6 tabs by accident already

I have to close one of the following:

* computer fairies (and no longer be able to toot from here)
* dragon style (and probably forget to be a dragon)
* birdsite (and stop interacting with my friends there)
* the ocaml code I'm currently reading
* my music
* the ocaml books list that I'm scanning through

I trained a neural network on a list of deleted Wikipedia titles. Not sure who is weirder this time, neural net or humans. aiweirdness.com/post/169309161

real world ocaml (-)

@saper the problem is not that I want to use windows for development, but rather that I might want to distribute an ocaml app for windows in the future

real world ocaml (-)

@Fumon the problem is that the standard library would be completely different, so I'd rather learn with a tutorial using a standard library that supports all platforms

real world ocaml (-)

@saper none of the development tools recommended by the book, or the core library (literally a replacement for the standard library) work on windows

real world ocaml (-)

I really want to use real world ocaml to learn, but... because the library they use isn't compatible with windows, I'm hesitant - not because I use windows, but because I might want to make an executable for windows someday

I think if anything is going to cause an AI uprising it will be because of AIs being used by people who don't understand computers, so they think every problem is "because of a virus" and they'll eventually manage to accumulate ~30 useless toolbars onto the AI's virtual retina.

tabs, an experiment

@BatElite I've been using firefox's pocket thing for that

and yeah I think... this week will be hard

@wxcafe@social.wxcafe.net @staticsafe@mastodon.zombocloud.com

the first and second points are related - it actually looks pretty good on windows 8 onwards

find something worth striving for, for yourself, imo

if you have something you love doing it doesn't matter if you're successful y'all

dreams are just a way to make sure that you're always getting better and striving to improve
