@Elizafox I think geometry often has a lot of like... "just trust me" stuff, especially to do with angles

nostalgia

@catoutofbed@octodon.social heck yes, machinae supremacy was amazing!

sad to hear they removed their free tracks ::/

@catoutofbed@octodon.social ye gods, that's an old version 0.o

@unascribed@cybre.space I used to keep forgetting how much I hate writing python, now I know how much I hate it so I just avoid it all the time

@kara@occult.camp that's why I usually stick with the "advanced" ones - the ones where you set everything up yourself - because when something goes wrong, it's easier to fix

Last boost: that's why I advocate *so much* for using languages that don't have null

when you don't have null, you can't get null check errors, which are a *huge* proportion of programming errors

Okay, if you ever feel bad about having screwed up your programming, ask any programmer you really respect what their last bug was, and I guarantee it'll be a null check or an equals check accidentally flipped to not-equals. The more experienced you are in this business, the dumber the bugs seem to get.

oceanic sincere shitposting

from birbhell (twitter.com/girlsrituals/statu ):

'hold on everybody

I JUST REALIZED THERES NO MIRRORS IN THE OCEAN AND IM SCARED SEA SLUGS DONT KNOW HOW BEAUTIFUL THEY ARE'

so, as a memo
please bring a mirror to your nudibranch friends

@chr@cybre.space I... honestly have no idea, even logged in it's a terrible experience

the skeeviest phrase in the English language

@grime_witch I shuddered and recoiled away just reading this
