this is based on my own experience with repetitive and tedious work in systems administration

I don't get what this has to do with leftism at all

I just realised that five nights at freddy's is a metaphor for actual work (and not good work, but like... repetitive labour)

at first you're terrified and confused and not quite sure how to do things

then after a couple of times you figure it out, and you're still stressed, but you know what you're doing

by the end of the game, it's become such a repetitive routine that you're not even emotionally engaged anymore
