but I'm regretting it - I was using NixOS fulltime for several years, and it was much better - the only reason I hacked sabayon to be like this is because I couldn't stand how mediocre it was compared to NixOS

it's a weird combination I hacked together of Sabayon, Gentoo, and Nixos
