Today I was working on the problem of wugu being both ergative and having switch reference.
(Both these concepts would take several posts to explain, so I recommend looking them up for an overview)

The solution I came up with (and found precedent for in natural langs) is to keep the Different Subject marker the same, but to split the Same Subject marker into multiple different types, depending on the valency of both the SR phrase and the main phrase.

I was playing the chancellor, just barely managing to hold onto the rule of my lands against the exiles, when one of my own citizens cornered me and attacked me, stealing my prized relics and forcing me to tell them the darkest secrets.
With the increased pressure from the exiles, I lost my rule, and the traitor citizen rose to power in my place.

Today, I finally got to play Oath: Chronicles of Empire and Exile.

And it was so good! So many little things that all interleaved with each other, and every thing in the game is a trade off - there's always costs and consequences.

I love how the game just kind of created this (simple) narrative of a power struggle out of just mechanics and art - there's no pre-written story at all.

And the fact that the game remembers is wonderful and very unique!

The first episode is:
The Sinestran Kill by Andrew Smith

Once I got over the fact that the new companion is a cop (ew gross, but this was also 2019 so not as gross as if it was being released today), the story is pretty good!

It starts as an interesting mystery, but then gradually becomes very high action, and there are some really great twists along the way

I've been listening to the Fourth Doctor Adventures Series 8 (The Syndicate Master Plan), which is a series which introduces a brand new companion.
I'm really enjoying it so far, but I really wish I hadn't looked up the companion on the wiki, because there's a huge spoiler for this entire series right there on the first page.

I've loved all 3 of the episodes I've heard so far
