I'll be the first to admit that I'm ridiculously salty and I'm speaking from a place of heightened emotions right now.
That said, don't put a fucking combat gauntlet at the end of your exploration platformer!!! It's not fun, it's not interesting, it's boring and challenging for the wrong reasons and it just makes people mad!!!

is there a decent tool for backing up all your tweets including all media?
the official tweet backup doesn't even work, the html file shows blank for every month recorded (csv might be ok but the text is less important to me than the media)

gripes about japanese writing
I hate hiragana because it's ALMOST sensible but it's not actually and has all these annoying inconsistencies
like, it's so close to having a very easy to learn system where all the syllables with an /a/ vowel have a certain symbol structure, and all the syllables with /k/ have a certain shape
but a bunch of letters mess it up
and then also sometimes they use the wrong symbol for certain things??? for no reason???
