"other side of the world" sadness

the other side of the world from me is in the middle of an ocean.

I learnt this in primary school when I was planning to dig a straight line through the earth's core and say hi to the people on the other side

hi everyone I'm back

sorry for worrying people (especially @LottieVixen@dev.glitch.social ...)

Hey if anyone wants to help support a disabled trans musician I would appreciate giving my Patreon a look, or even just dropping some change on PayPal

I can't be employed so this is pretty much my only option as far as money goes

Boosts also encouraged~

Art Preview

A Terran Nuclear Pulse Propulsion Battleship test firing its rapid-loading hyper-v slug-throwers, with "short range" self eroding projectiles. (Don't want to pollute high selenic/lunan/lunar orbit with high-v slugs after all!)

Getting the turret tracking to work properly was such a freaking pain in the ass, animation nodes really didn't want to play nice with most of the constraints I was using, but the "locked track" seems to work ok!

Update: my computer survived, but I broke the installation by losing power part way through, and now it's bedtime

Goodnight! I hope you all have a good day 💕

okie dokie, disappearing to attempt to install an operating system!

see you lovelies later... if my computer survives...

your netflix account was deleted on this post. Its snout is long overdue

well, while I'm waiting for this backup, I guess I'll clean up the desk and do some laundry

linux (manjaro) grumbling

like, I can't even use my touchpad anymore, the panel at the top of the screen isn't displaying window-manager info (which is essential), I couldn't connect to wifi networks until I rolled back the entire update

this is absurd and awful and terrible and I don't know how people can still defend this nonsense

linux (manjaro) grumbling

welp it took 2 months, but manjaro finally had the same problem as arch: I did an update and now everything's broken and I can barely use my system

Last time this happened in arch, I spent ages trying to fix it and succeeded, only for it to break again

so this time, I'm just going to wipe the distro and install sabayon because I'm sick of this OS already

at a doctor's appointment

And I regret not putting Mx next to the title options and circling it

manjaro, grumbling

I switched to manjaro linux

and my battery lasts 1 hour and 20 minutes

instead of 4 hours
