we have a local election in 2 days, and I'm trying to think about how I'm going to vote ahead of time, but half of the candidates for my area DON'T HAVE A WEBSITE or page at all, and so I have no idea what they even stand for.

birdsite update: I'm still locked out, because their "let us call you to verify it's actually you" thing isn't actually working.

I got a call from my ex-workplace, and now a bad day has been made EVEN WORSE

I just played "Transmissions: Element 120", a hl2 mod.

It's really good! It has a really interesting take on hl2's gameplay and level design (it feels halfway between hl2 and a metroidvania), and manages to mix up the standard by making the atmosphere creepy and adding a bunch of extra mechanics.

It's free and short, so go play it!
