ok I want to... run my own server, but I don't want to run it through my home internet because ✨ hackers ✨ might get in to my local network and some people I live with have important data.... hmmm... what to do?

Thinking about making a dependently typed language for low-level stuff...

second question: is there a place I can get hosting for like... just a couple of html files? I don't need high bandwidth or storage capacity at all if I use this as a website

also I don't have hosting for it anymore, so I'd have to find somewhere to host it...

hey I have a domain that I'm not using, what should I do with it?

(for bonus context: the domain uses a name that I used on the internet just after realising I was trans, but before I realised I was nb, so I don't really associate with that name anymore?)

setting up your own mobile network is

self-service cell service

request for affection

can someone please call me a good lizard?

can we start a not-for-profit, community run ISP?

is that something you can do?

politics, capitalism

capitalism is such an awful system for running a society - maybe it's good in theory, and we could take a few ideas from in it for a part of a larger society, but it doesn't work on a large scale

You know that trans girl who's just hatching and recently left birdsite but is really excited to be on masto looking at ur sexy lewds?

The Avid Ovoid Avian-Avoider Voyeur

trans stuff, voice, weirdness

I used to be a bass singer, and now my voice apparently sounds fem and cute?

I didn't do any actual voice training, I just stopped speaking in a monotone voice...

I'm not going to set up a thing to crosspost to birdsite, because I kinda like having different stuff here to what I have there?
