@njan irgendwer muss halt rechnen und ein browser kann das nicht, der kann nur daten hin- und herschicken und was anzeigen. das ist quasi ein grundlegendes prinzip. rechnen kann clientseitig nur die in jeden browser extra eingebaute js-engine oder halt ein interpreter einer anderen programmiersprache, der auf einem server läuft. so ganz grob.
@njan interaktionen könnte man auch mit serverseitigen ansätzen wie jsp (java-basiert), asp (.net-basiert) oder django (python-framework) umsetzen. nachteil ist halt, dass man für jeden scheiß einen server call hat, was schnell zum performance-problem wird

I bought a ticket to Stockholm via bahn.de (Europa Sparpreis) and a ticket from Stockholm to Kiruna via sj.se (which was ridiculously cheap compared to german train tickets prices)
