While far from addressing the underlying problems, a way to up/downvote sentences in Duolingo would be super useful. It's enough to see a sexist/heteronormative/cisnormative/annoying sentence once, let me practice that thing in a different context so I don't have to ragequit.

MASTODON RPG: THE ADVENTURES OF LYRA THE ARMOURED BEAR THIEF
Rules: I present a Situation, fist person to respond (as long as it is not entirely absurd) determines what Lyra does or says. I describe what happens next. I might or might not roll a dice.
Character: Lyra is a 220 cm tall panserbjørne thief that has been cursed so she can only speak the truth. Even though being a bear, she rejects the Idea of killing for food but is craving meat nevertheless.
IT BEGINS
You wake up in complete darkness. You don't know where you are or why you are there. Creaking wood reaches your ear and the splash of water. The floor gently rocks. You smell someone else...

and my teammates (lol one of them was a person I hated in high school) were cute and kind and caring and we finished the run, which included some really bizarre parts like running along a boat race/fight(? it seemed fighty), and we were the last ones and it was shitty and not a good idea but we had each other. Awww xD
Also I dreamed something that was really nice and really nice hurt/comfort
