Whoa, I dreamed that we were staying in a tent and it was raining really really hard and it stood in a puddle and water started to come in through the floor
That was intense, but also, opening the tent did not make it rain inside
And I'm pretty sure none of our clothes were wet

In 2019 will I have to be like "I get why we replaced all pronouns with the enbyface emoji but my Note 4 still doesn't have it" and you'll be all "uh it's pronounced [somehow sings a chord for a half second]"
@Jules ja… ja, das find ich gut. für "wie viele menschen welchen geschlechts arbeiten in diesem bereich" und so brauchts wenn es generell gar keine geschlechtseinträge gibt dann andere lösungen, aber das muss ja zu schaffen sein.

I'm not super knowledgeable about these issues, but some that I know of are:
– weird rules about spouses of disabled people re care
– disabled people not being allowed to decide over their life anyway
– gender is mentioned explicitly, but some German citizens, mainly intersex people born after 2013, do not have a legal gender
– marriage still only between 2 people, not more

btw, on German birbsite, some people use #EheFürEinPaarMehrAlsVorher ("marriage for some more than before", coined by @cuffedCatling, iirc) instead of #EheFürAlle ("marriage for all") to highlight exclusions

(Nebenbemerkung – während die #EheFürEinPaarMehrAlsVorher in D passiert, denk ich was Geschlechtseinträge betrifft gerade vor allem an die Situation in Ö, weil ich die besser kenne und es die ist, die mich direkt betrifft.)
Es geht in vielen Punkten nur um Abläufe, die auch in der momentanen Situation freundlicher gestaltet werden könnten. Um eine Übung im Herumarbeiten um Gesetze und Vorschriften. Das geht auch jetzt schon alles, und ich werde mich nicht beschweren, wenn das mit einer richtigen offiziellen dritten Geschlechtsoption einfacher wird, aber eigentlich kommt mir der staatlich erzwungene Weg unnötig kompliziert vor.
So ein offizielles "anderes" würde da mit der Zeit sicher helfen und viele Änderungen erzwingen, aber gleichzeitig… die Änderungen kann es großteils auch ohne das geben. Weil es Kleinigkeiten sind. Wie Geschlecht in irgendeinem nicht-so-offiziellen Formular abgefragt wird. Ob es üblich ist, dort, wo die offiziellen Daten erfasst werden müssen, _trotzdem_ zusätzlich und davon unabhängig nach dem Namen und der Anrede zu fragen, die überall sonst verwendet werden sollen.
