Owning a 3D printer in the vintage computing hobby is absolutely life changing. You go from being surrounded by a massive disorganized pile of old machines, to being surrounded by a massive disorganize pile of old machines, but none of them are missing port covers anymore.

i think the one rare retro computer we have the least information about (at least widely available and easily digestible) has got to be the pixar image computer. i have no idea what they even look like working. all we know about them is how it's a big cube and steve jobs was involved somewhat
