oh here's a much better look at it from S6 E2, those are not tape decks at all

what the hell is this??

Show thread

seen in the background of The Expanse S6 E1. i don't think it's a made up prop, i think it's a piece of hifi/video equipment turned prop. makes me think of technics vhs pcm audio recorder, but might be regular cassette instead. bottom bright spots are VU meters maybe?

re: Star Trek (guess I like this show now)

@JordiGH given it started in 1988 yeah it's still fairly conservative as far as that goes, DS9 is where funny things start with garak/bashir and jadzia dax's previous host being male, but you don't get really outspoken queer rep until discovery and strange new worlds

Added some extra little details, spikes on the knees and lfrith style bunny antenna on the head, in an eye catching red

Show thread

i'm like a sim whose fun meter hasn't left red in two or three years and i'm pretty sure that constitutes pathology

family got a new samsung tv with a "remote" that has almost no buttons because you're meant to use a phone app instead. phone app is 80mb and tells me my browser (firefox nightly) is unsupported to log into the samsung account to control this tv that's already in our living room. hey @internetofshit

ah ha ha we did it

chaining and score multipliers, and a score display, now potentially fully implemented

this has finally reached "playable" status, though there's much more to do before it's "releasable"

I am ON A MISSION! I have a deep rooted desire to create new content for the old social mmo for Commodore 64, Habitat. There are ways to make new areas with the currently provided objects and tools, but the number 1 most limiting factor is the ability to create new objects. Most environments are comprised almost entirely of objects and having that ability would change EVERYTHING.

Could you imagine a NEW social MMO with amazing GM control with a c64 maniac mansion aesthetic? #commodore #gamedev

@immaculatetaste@convo.casa sorry, just reusing an oft-cited simpsons quote, i mean redrawing that particular frame was a fad for artists a while ago!

@immaculatetaste@convo.casa which was the style, at the time!

@TiffanyNeat well it might look something like this

it's less about what i think and more a "if there's not a good contrast it might not look good" warning, so if that looks good to you then sure!

@TiffanyNeat a dark green and a light pink would contrast well with each other, for example

@TiffanyNeat ideally any colors that have a good contrast ratio between each other so that you can see the art better since it's only two colors, but that's less a rule and more a suggestion

@pbaesse postar em duas línguas dá preguiça! fora outras birras pessoais

mas quem sabe 2024 eu faço uma conta tupiniquim
