@SomaFMrusty@defcon.social the "surround" setting in openmpt (highly derided by actual composers) does exactly only that, sets a track's L and R out of phase. i naively used that a lot in my earlier songs until i realized

@lmorchard could get a sheet of acrylic professionally bent, wouldn't need to be complex if you're ok with the sides being open, and then you could even hinge it at the back

@lmorchard ooh, i'd done M5 screw + wingnut with regular PLA before. worked pretty well but i'm sure it wouldn't withstand shear force

@arielmt i got a crummy portable deskjet (forget the model number) as a bundle with a retro win98 laptop i wanted to get on ebay and i was ready to just consider it as a paperweight but on a whim i bought cartridges for it and for how small and obviously cost-cut it is, it somehow still prints amazingly
