mastodon is really cool in that (i think, this is the only way i can imagine this happened) if a post takes too long to federate before the notice to delete it federates, it survives forever in servers you have no control over (which is a thing that has many other very easy ways to happen, but)

anyway this post brought to you by yet another org realizing containerization sucks actually and i need to come in and wrestle all their files out of a cloud platform and rebuild into a bog standard vps baremetal

FUCK @dasharez0ne, if you have a scrap of dignity and give a fuck about trans people? Spread this far and wide.

Below is a Google Doc discussing how the trans person that was behind
it got chased out by the transphobic asshole running things now. Oh, and how she got cut out of getting almost any money from that highly successful Kickstarter campaign.

They don't deserve your time or dimes. Spread the word everybody, Da Sharez0ne is DONE.

@lmorchard could get a sheet of acrylic professionally bent, wouldn't need to be complex if you're ok with the sides being open, and then you could even hinge it at the back

@suricrasia my only takeaway from my brief brush with The Corporate World is that figma is Kinda Neat

@lmorchard i am a big proponent that if you're going to buy chinese stuff might as well get it straight from the horse's mouth than fund a billionaire's third yacht

@lmorchard i know i took pictures but try as i might i cannot find them anymore

@lmorchard ooh, i'd done M5 screw + wingnut with regular PLA before. worked pretty well but i'm sure it wouldn't withstand shear force

@arielmt i got a crummy portable deskjet (forget the model number) as a bundle with a retro win98 laptop i wanted to get on ebay and i was ready to just consider it as a paperweight but on a whim i bought cartridges for it and for how small and obviously cost-cut it is, it somehow still prints amazingly
