I played too much Deluxe Galaga and now I gotta send $10 USD to this guy who died ten years ago

Friends, don't be like me, with ten dollars to spare and nobody to send it to, pay for your shareware within the author's lifetime. Settle your debts with the living, the dead don't take cheques

@suricrasia i see people in vr circles (including well-regarded devs for the platform) disdaining those who get "phantom sensations" from it and it's such clown shit to be so close minded

My friends I am hooting and howling at this paper.

This is my final response. I cannot and will not "continue the mission" because:

  1. The business is dead (2025-02-15)
  2. All assets are surrendered to FBI
  3. Only crimes are occurring
  4. No business exists to operate
  5. No mission can continueThis concludes all business activities forever.

I just paid the UK Home Office nearly 4000 British Sterling Pounds™ in visa application fees in order to be allowed to live with my wife!

@suricrasia i have yet to see anyone start a sentence capitalising product names like "IPhone" and maybe products shouldn't be granted more respect than persons

i dont think the world was better or worse before the internet so much as the internet gave us all a brief glimpse of a world without the conventional logics of capital before capital was able to catch up

Still at it with the Lego cars, lmao. Here's all the ones I've done since the last post I made about it.

Announcing: justaqrcode.com.

Tired of "free" QR code generators that are full of ads and trackers, that share your data, and that want to sell you something? Me too. Here's my act of resistance: I made a one-page site that works entirely in your browser to generate a simple QR code. And that's all it does. You can download the HTML page and run it locally, even. Read the source; nothing up my sleeves. Just a QR code.

My offer to you -- I will continue to pay for the domain name and web hosting for it, myself. If you find it valuable, you can pay it back by creating your own useful thing for the world and releasing it for free. Let's take back the friendly web, one vexingly-monetized utility at a time!
