@jk oh i was using micropython which mostly kept it high level. which had the shortcoming of it not being fast enough

@jk that's usually what i've seen people do yeah, the holes being lego technics compatible helps

i was working on a little drum machine program but it started getting slow and making the audio out of sync so i got bored and haven't worked on it in a while

@jk ohhh the card computer is a cool one, have you done anything fun with that pi yet?

@jk my favourite raspberry pi is the CHIP from the bankrupt and defunct Next Thing Co.

days when "i" feels wrong but no foresight to use "we" and avoiding first person pronouns at all is the only thing that works

finally added snare and bass, runners are sprites now, some other changes under the hood

i guess triband had to drop a stinker eventually after two good games

enjoyed what the golf and what the bat and really wanted to enjoy what the car but the forced replayability through bullshit mobile game bronze silver gold here's-how-shit-you-did-at-the-level-you-dumbass mechanic is grating

couple of very minimal changes. runners are now lockstep instead of each having its own bpm (sorry polyrhythms but i ended up not liking that code) and i can erase all runners without having to restart the whole program.

lots of UI to do, lots of things to add. but it's so fun

you're not going crazy, i deleted some video posts cause i bunged up the audio capture. will post more with future progress

thanks for the likes

@The4thCircle i've been looking across several 3D printing retailers in the UK to no luck, i'm just glad it's not my incompetence in searching :) there'll be enough space in my suitcase to bring a roll so i'll just do that.
