so many places i used to be active in i had to leave because these bullshit people decided they're above the rules and the people making the rules agreed with their behaviour. i am so sick of having to leave places because of them. that's also another reason why i started my own spaces.

maybe my spaces will never be communities. but at least they're safe for me.

i hate being abused by Prominent Internet People because it means that they are going to be everywhere active you could want to participate in and effectively kill your entire social life

i'm so tired of removing myself from spaces because my abusers are there. where is left for me to go?

It is finally done, Turn of a Friendly Card has been liberated from Wordpress and laboriously converted back to standard HTML+CSS. netizen.club/~wildweasel/frien

I wrote most of this in 2017, but a lot of posts have been updated with more recent thoughts and factual corrections.

@quirk easy, allocate a virtual desktop for managing your virtual desktops

Have more or less begun in earnest, the process of converting my solitaire blog to HTML. And that involves - yes - smashing together another stylesheet for it. There are things that I can't do in pure CSS, but I can still at least achieve the feel that I'm looking for, here.

Just a lot of busywork left, really.

netizen.club/~wildweasel/golfe - Just an update to the Golfer's Gallery over at Golfshrine today, with a few golfers I hadn't gotten around to adding, plus subsections on costume editors and course designers.

@cadeybunny i have absolutely not tried this at all to know if it'll serve you, but "learning pixel art" and "interactive" reminds me of this i saw a while ago pixelart.academy/

@wildweasel it's been my saviour every time i've need a character name for something for the past several years

@Stinkie they defend this one by saying "oh it was just an unstable development release, not meant to be seen if you're on the stable channel" but like, isn't that the point of rolling releases vs "archaic" distros like Debian?

And then this happened today (unrelated to the previous couple of pictures obviously). Who can tell me what exactly this is? 😀
(Also, chances of revival around 50% 😬)
