@suricrasia oh man when i was younger without internet except sporadically at a computer lab i would download DOS abandonware onto floppy disks and bring them home

this was then Home of the Underdogs was a thriving source and while the main computer i had access to was a 486. weird anachronistic times

computers peaked when you could put linux in a pda and browse the web with konqueror embedded

neither desktops nor mobiles work as well as this anymore in 2025

For the Hot Gamers: I have a few of these Mini Game Fans for sale. You can keep cool AND be gaming!? It's VT369 hardware, 39 games built in, some originals and some standard NES ones. They're "basically new", have been tested, but the boxes have some damage. £7.50 each +shipping. DM me if interested

This is your permission to seek out someone whose work you admire and email them with “A collab idea?” ha

Also: It was so much fun to learn new old things. I never actually had any 1984–2004 Macs myself, ever, but in the process of writing I ended up using ResEdit, hacking some CDEVs, resurrecting some Mac OS 8.5 beta bits, and generally going deep on this platform I only admired from afar in Poland. (I even emulated Lisa on my machine for the first time!)
