i really need stable income but since jobs aren't real anymore i'm taking any help i can get. i have a ko-fi you can send money to and there's even some pins left to buy there. i have a patreon where i don't have any rewards because i couldn't think of any and nobody has suggested any yet. you can also get a pixel portrait for a very reasonable price. or you can tell your employer about me

Pro tip: throw out any "norms" that don't help you.

I was taught to brush my teeth standing up, but after I became very ill and fatigued a few years ago, I dragged a chair into the bathroom and sat down.

And it's so much better. Not only do I not waste energy unnecessarily, but I don't rush through brushing my teeth, I do take the full two minutes to brush them, because I'm more comfortable and get less tired.

People look at me like I'm a weirdo when I tell people this, but seriously, find what norms you follow in your life "just because", and see how you can change them to make your life better.

the Internet is not a library. it is just computers screaming forever and hoping to be seen. the Internet is ephemeral oral tradition performed by machines. the Internet is a verb stuffed into a poorly-fitting “noun” suit

If you missed out on the #RC2014 Pride kits but still want to add some sparkle and rainbows to jazz up your standard RC2014, you're in luck! There's a few components left over.
But grab them quick. When they're gone, they're gone!

also the oculus was bad because the optics are such that if you move your head even a little out of alignment it gets really blurry. we tried my old google cardboard which was wayyyy better on that front (but bad for other reasons), so I assume lower FOV means more forgiving optics
