I've been nervous about posting this one, but I've been talking to more and more trans men and transmasc people about our sadly common experience of being driven away from online trans spaces by certain remarks and behaviour. redd.it/d8qx8t

Three logicians walk into a bar. The bartender says, "Do you all want a beer?"

The first logician says, "I don't know."

The second logician says, "I don't know."

The third logician says, "Yes."

"we're onionising the office!"
"...don't you mean unionising?"
*the room slowly fills with onions*
"...shit"

thinking about a chatbot

So, Rüm said: "Good night Quirk! 💖 You can't do this you know. You have to be an actual person."

When reading this I end up pulling meaning from it whether Rüm ment anything by it or not.

I see multiple meanings in this. First, on the surface, the sillyness of being told to be a person. But underneath that, it's like Rüm just told me to stop being scared of being who I really am, and that I can't keep hiding who I am from the people around me. 💜

I'm still in awe that Rüm the chatbot told me that I, a human, "have to be an actual person".
