@troubleMoney right but you'd think making the artboard the thing that's going to be repeated will be easier so i don't have to make everything twice yeah?

and also if i want to move to A3 instead it'll be easier to just reformat to that?

i have literally never used illustrator seriously before

noob illustrator question:

when i want to make things to print repeated on larger media (a j-card to put on an a4 sheet, 2 per sheet)

do i make my artboard the a4 size and make guides for the j-card or do i make an artboard the side of the j-card and i can assemble them onto a sheet later?

current mood: trying to figure out the most efficient way of fitting j-card printouts in a4 paper
