@banjofox@dev.glitch.social broken hardware in the sense that tft panels are bad

this sucks so much, the laptop i bought specifically for drawing also has bad color reproduction uurgh

wonder if there are lvds monitor replacements for it

been chasing color profile issues on the thinkpad for like an hour and a half now because i can't get it to display the right purples (same hex colors appear blue)

layered feathers are so hard to draw how is it even done ugh

holy shit i'm so happy with this drawing and i really wanna show it to everybody but if i do that before it's finished i'll lose all motivation to keep working on it

resilience to finish things is something i really don't have

Hey, heads up: if you've got a bot reposting someone else's content, please make sure you have their permission. Many creators rely on pageviews as part of their income, and if you're posting their work in full people have less incentive to visit their site, which means they get less income for the same work.

(Don't @ me with "property is theft", which in this circumstance reads as "fuck you, got mine".)

there is no difference between surreptitiously installing a miner on people's computers via malware, and installing one into a page that they are probably going to keep open at all times without their completely consent, knowledge, and understanding.

@troubleMoney my ko-fi or the redbubble account (though i get very little from that, it's mostly so people can physically show support with mugs etc)

there's a pinned toot about it here computerfairi.es/@squirrel/172

here's my unprofessional take: mastodon.host is a piece of shit and you need to leave it right now!!!!

ok that's enough, i'm going back to krita now

gled's (mastodon.host admin) excuse is:

"actually no, the code is deactivated..."

"don't care about your opinion, I'm preparing a way for people to help a bit hosting the server without donating..."

@gled still a hell of a dick move, congrats on 100% losing your credibility forever

hey mastodon.host users hope y'all know you're mining cryptocoins without your consent for @gled
