why is my router (192.168.1.1) trying to bruteforce root into my server (192.168.1.64)

@kelbot@linuxrocks.online i'm using a 2013 amd laptop (forgot the cpu model but it's rather underpowered) with 6gb ram and it's a cpu hog and the sync client absolutely cannot handle a 3gb file and i have to manually upload them through the web interface and then restart the sync client so it stops trying to sync them fruitlessly

mastodon feature to let people follow your public posts regardless of you allowing them to follow you or not is long overdue

i want to let people follow my public posts but i want to filter who sees my follower-only posts

lists could work for this but oops you can only add people you follow... i don't really get why
