@murilega @asonix@asonix.dog no, i actually use it for IRL people and i don't want to mix the two

in addition you might want to add

padding-bottom: 0.5em;

to class display-name, but ymmv

wanna put display name and @ handle on two separate lines? add this to your custom scss:

.display-name__html::after {
content: "\a";
white-space: pre;
}

so CWs seem to have an extra linebreak at the start now...

is this the return of that double space bug 😰

i've removed all remote copies of :maple: and request other instances to replace theirs with mine if desired because the white border looks really silly on remote versions :(

custom emojis notes:
- custom emojis show nominally at 18x18px in timelines but 16x16px on the control panel. make em for 18x18px so they don't get blurry in usage
- custom emojis do not refederate. if you get it wrong once, use another shorthand or the fixed version will not show on remote instances.

@noelle that's because we got your first version of them, and it doesn't update remotely unless the admin deletes them

@noelle those look bad here, now /i/ need to do the same thing ;w;

in a bit, once i get to my computer

@noelle (also delete the floppy one while you're at it because that also had a second revision as well)

@noelle delete the computer fairies version and then let it refederate

@InspectorCaracal @bea @noelle yeah this is actually more accurate, because i DID try copying it off g.s first, noticed it has the white border, deleted it, then uploaded my own under the same shorthand

so m.s probably got the first one and didn't care about any subsequent changes

@bea @noelle so somehow mastodon.social is grabbing the wrong image to display my emoji
