@bea i'm super surprised at what this thing will run, i've been throwing plenty of stuff at it

youtube and netflix run perfectly

specs are 1.6ghz core 2 duo with 2gb ram, so for 2007 it was quite the powerhouse

it does however turn the thinkpad into a lovely and effective lap and hand warmer

minecraft 1.12.1 isn't terribly unplayable on the 10 year old thinkpad

it stutters around, but whenever it's not, it manages to keep a rather responsive framerate

perhaps optifine can improve that even more

@sydneyfalk i figured that's what you meant, we could still talk about it

i'm sorry things haven't gone well for you :(

as for my talent, i think it's purely fake-it-until-you-make-it and i haven't really made it yet or probably never will

i'm good at copying in my own way, but i'm not good at doing things from scratch

the current way i draw maple is heavily influenced by amy the squirrel (the amiga furry cartoons)

holy shit apt takes my fingerprint instead of a password now

i think the only two accounts with normie avatars i follow are sundog and @RealDaveRyder

wonder how well the thinkpad can run modded minecraft !!!!

need to find a couple of new trackpoint rubber covers, right now i'm using a toshiba one on the thinkpad and the toshiba has none, and i think both could use a replacement

set layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to 0.8 in about:config and modern web is readable in 1024x768 again

@Morgan i imagine the hinge on a x61t will be a bit more problematic :s

i'm still gushing a little bit about this thinkpad just for how amazed i am at how capable a 10 year laptop can still be??? i can see why people like old thinkpads so much too, this thing feels pretty solid
