@ratbaby or is that because that's how long his accounts last on each instance

@InspectorCaracal @ratbaby i just want friends who like me and somehow i relate that to popularity sorry

maybe i should split off into a private and a public account but i'm bad at those

i want to be just one person

other people: omg so many people i don't know are following me!!

me: ugh people i don't know are trying to follow me again

you have to open my profile to follow me so why don't you read my bio while you're at it

if i don't know you and you're trying to follow me id at the very fucking least like a MESSAGE

and trying to find this issue on google only gets me results for ubuntu and linux mint regarding the brightness not saving across reboots but my issue isn't even that it's that it's not saving it across *five minutes*

linux is so easy to use and never breaks and is not cryptic at all ever

Show thread

i don't know linux enough to know what's driving my laptop's screen brightness and why it sucks

this is a xubuntu installation i put mate on top of and what it does is after the idle time the screen dims but after i move the mouse it doesn't come back to the brightness setting i had it at, it comes back to whatever default is set in the config

so i have to keep bumping it up manually every few minutes

i love linux
