ok looks like gitea would work since it needs only about 1gb of ram, plus i want a full website thing with issues and stuff just like github, not just a repository server
making websites lynx compatible is very good even if nobody ever uses it in lynx, it's a good constraint to make sure you're keeping the page consistent with standards
but it doesn't have to be a completely unstyled concrete wall
reminder that "targeting lynx" and making a website lynx-compatible are two very distinct things
you can make a pretty website that's still very readable and usable in lynx

sadly acmlmboard xd drops the rpg features of the original (which were silly and pointless but i liked the increasing numbers)
idk if we'll implement something like it in the future from scratch but even without it, it's already a very nice board
Many people seem concerned that Microsoft might buy GitHub. A reasonable fear.
I've been using this for a couple of years for projects, and I think it might be a viable alternative. Especially because a $5us/month DO droplet is more than enough for a project server.

for those who just don't get them at all anymore: go to chrome://serviceworker-internals and unregister everything from your instance
idk i think just nobody at mastodon checks code before they push out a release anymore
maybe the fix is just finding the changes to notifications between 2.3.3 and 2.4.0 and reverting them
as we always do in computer fairies
also on top of the aforementioned issues, apostrophes show up as ' in notifications now
idk how gargron hammed it up this bad but he did
