you can get Macintosh computers that do audio tasks used for very cheap

some studios even still use powerpcs

bad way to end the week

so the 500w psu can stil post an older system, a pentium dual core, but it can't post the ryzen

i don't know if the psu went bad and can't give enough current and that's why it won't turn on anymore or if the mobo/cpu crapped themselves out...

ugh, so stressful

psu confirmed bad now, i can't get it to come on by itself by shorting ps_on to gnd at all

@Elizafox your netflix account was still logged into my laptop

so i took the whole thing apart, plugged everything back in, cleared CMOS, everything, and my desktop is still not posting. immediate suspects are PSU, CPU and motherboard without any way of knowing which combination of the three are bad.
