hey another thing https://github.com/Lana-chan/mastodon-ebooks.py now has an ananas wrapper that users the same engine underneath so it maintains cronjob friendly _and_ ananas friendly!

it's still not on ananas because i want to push some changes to ananas but i can't contribute to it yet because i simply can't run ananas and i don't know what's wrong with the package so i'm waiting for someone to help me with that. until then mastodon-ebooks.py runs on cron just fine

hey if you're running an ebooks bot using https://github.com/Lana-chan/mastodon-ebooks.py a couple of days ago i improved the reply function to try and find words you say to it in the replies (giving a generic sentence reply if it can't find one), akin to the behavior of IRC chatbots of yore

hey so how do i contribute to ananas if i can't run ananas withut installing it as a pip package because it can't import the files that are right there because it wants to import them as the ananas package and it says ananas is not a package what do i do.
