:thaenkin: Since we already call the fediverse "the 'verse" does that mean that the bigger instances are the alliance and the small instances are browncoats?

@hfrazey it was indeed the same one

luckily it's one of the larger ones who could certainly cope with missing a couple of meals and they found it eventually

When life gives you lemons, life probably stole them from the computerfairi.es lemon tree the thieving bastard

@maple we shall form an adventuring group to protect the citrus!

I swear to god that one of our hedgehogs is the dimmest creature to have ever lived

They were trying to find the biscuits

They were snuffling about for quarter of an hour no more than 20cm away from the dish trying to find the damn thing

They looked straight at it and sniffed it no less than three times before eventually cottoning on to the fact that yes, the biscuit dish was in fact the biscuit dish they were looking for

I love the adorable lil bugger

@gemlog I don't remember posing for this portrait but it's a very good one!

Oooh, shiny

New Grand Seiko models, quartz, yeah, I know, but these are the high accuracy quartz ones with the limited edition (middle) being +-5 seconds per year and the standard models at +-10 seconds per year

Also, I'm a sucker for a good GMT complication

In the UK, the HSE requires that all portable electronic appliances used for businessy things be tested for safety, this is colloquially known as a "PAT test"

I have no idea what this actually consists of, but I'm going to believe that it involves softly patting the appliance on the top while saying "aww you're such a good lil appliance, aren't you a good lil appliance, you're not going to give anyone a shock are you 'cause you're such a good lil appliance!"

Not to brag or anything but our wonderful admin silenced bofa.lol a fortnight ago

She's just that good

One of the hedgehogs just wandered to the cafe, looked over at me, half rolled over showing their belly, scratched an itch, entirely forgot it was going to the cafe, and wandered off

@impiaaa@dev.glitch.social the version I go by is "does it improve on silence?"

@Jo lemme guess, rising to £8.99 from issue 2, monthly publication

@Jo as if those little bits of plastic could be any more expensive
