WARNING: Article about blockchain wankery

@inmysocks suppose it might help getting venture capital, but nothing actually useful aside from it being a buzzword

@brokenfingers A Vulcan machine gun?!

You are a far more powerful beholder than I thought, and I thought you were pretty damn powerful to start with

Something I want Games Workshop to do

I want a 40k Ork clan that paints all their gear with big 60's daisies and flowers and stuff, bunches of flowers coming out of their headbands

The humans paint their stuff green like plants and it blends in so they can't be seen as easily, obviously any plants would work for camouflage

Perfect for sneaky orkz

@inmysocks My favourite is probably Frank Exchange of Views

With a close second being the Gravitas line

@kibi hey, tell us where you got these super comfy pants from and we'll buy our own

language gender

@Elizafox 6th brain: everything is thing, this thing, that thing, 'tother thing

@blackle@dev.glitch.social a show framed as a monster-of-the week, but both the protagonists are aliens and it's actually normal mundane stuff they're investigating

"Oh my god, this crazed lunatic is putting boxes out next to everyone's houses! Why is he doing that!?!"
- is actually the mailman

blah

@Elizafox ah yeah, exceptions to every rule of course

I'd argue it's fine for singular/plural/whatever and it's been used that way for centuries but that doesn't exactly convince anyone that thinks otherwise

blah

@Elizafox I just default to "they"

Hardly anyone gets annoyed by "they"

:thaenkin: Why do all the conspiracy nuts talk about "the world being secretly run by lizard people" as a potential bad thing?

All the lizard people I've met 'round these parts have been lovely

@gdkar @KitRedgrave@glitch.social Well the French call us Le Rosbifs

FCC, net neutrality, funny

Now, this is either someone taking the piss, or nobody bothered to sanity check the names and addresses given to the bots

From a comment the FCC received about net neutrality: "The unprecedented regulatory power the Obama Administration imposed on the internet is smothering innovation, damaging the American economy and obstructing job creation."

The comment is allegedly from a Mr. B. Obama

fcc.gov/ecfs/filing/1051157755

Yeah. That one.

@Gargron @Nezchan @mike@nulled.red The Italians are ahead of the game on this

Credito Emiliano, an Italian regional bank, already accepts Parmigiano-Reggiano as collateral for business loans

A General looks out on a piece of grassland, on it are hundreds of people in black and white striped shirts, their faces painted snow white, all of them pretending to be locked inside boxes

"GOD DAMNIT COLONEL, I SAID A MINE FIELD"
