haven't tested it with a power meter or anything but I'm assuming it's not too much

@penguin42 your standard LED strip like you can get from amazon or just about anywhere else, comes as a self adhesive tape with LEDs along it, costs about a tenner for 5 metres then you just need a 40W 12v power supply

no, wait, I was wrong, it's 300 of them, 60 per metre

600x 5050 SMD LEDs are quite bright
