@maple I think with just about anything the blue and orange one would just be there like "yeah, I'm a bright blue and orange watch, deal with it" and I love it for that

baselworld

I'm a sucker for a good GMT and Zodiac have just released one

This has 200m water resistance, an ETA 2893 movement, and a really nice two-tone bezel

Two colourways, both limited edition, the blue and orange one looks funky as hell

Tudor's come out with something interesting

The P01, it's inspired by a prototype dive watch they were mucking around with in the 60's

I don't know if I love it or hate it

@maple I love them 4 times more than a standard person because I've got 4 times the arms to wear them on!

I particularly like the 6012, bit dressy for my normal wardrobe but damn that's a good looking watch

They've also got some new stuff in the Frankfurt Financial District series, a limited edition of the 6099 in blue (which is really quite fetching) and a totally new model, the 6012

The 6012 has their new SZ06 movement with chronograph, full calendar display, and moonphase

Comes standard in steel or in a limited edition rose gold

SINN! New Sinn watches!

First, a 104 with a green metallic dial, not much new to say about this aside from 104s are good

Second, 2 new diver chronos, the 206 and the 206 ARKTIS, 300m water resistance on both, Sinn's Ar dehumidification tech on both, but the ARKTIS has added temperature resistance and is reliable between -45 and 80 degrees

@kitten Greubel Forsey, the name of the company that makes it

@noelle someone who exclusively sells porcelain thrones is a lav vendor

If a bunch of chickens that were in a cage being transported in a short-bodied car decided to stage a revolution would that be a coupe coop coup?

@Jo this thing's just a chicken and it's impressive enough, imagine something like this but 6 meters tall

Ooh, Patek Phillipe Aquanaut in a nice olive drab-y colour

hodinkee.com/articles/patek-ph

Not entirely sure about white gold for a field-y looking sports watch but let's face it it's not ever going to see anything approaching hard use

@maple pretty much!

I'll be geeking out for the next week, I'll make sure to CW all of it though

🐙 !!! BASELWORLD STARTS TOMORROW !!! 🐙

I'll be a very happy octopus seeing all the new watches that are coming out/being announced
