Well, apparently it's now officially close to christmas, John Lewis have released their christmas advert

youtube.com/watch?v=r9D-uvKih_

It features a cute excitable dragon

@mavica my pet theory is that the cgi was taking too long to hit the original release date so they put together the first trailer with the horrifying sonic so they'd have more time to finish it with a reasonable sonic once everyone complained

@mavica calculus is one of those fields where I never understand the question let alone have any idea to get the answer

@mavica @InspectorCaracal "Her color scheme is inspired by doxygen source code highlighting" yeah... of course it is tyson... we know what it really is

@codl I'm guessing it's scroll+click

which would make it two dimensions so... maybe it does side to side as well? Don't know

questionably transphobic term

@mavica yeah, that's definitely a bit of an odd and questionable thing to label oneself as

@InspectorCaracal well, for certain values of "professional" I'm sure your local gardener-type person'll have a go with the hedge clippers for cheap :blobtongue:

:thaenkin: an offshoot of christianity that omitted the highest order of angels would be sans-seraph

@Felthry @codl you usually type in the exchange rate that you got from the business pages in the newspaper at the start of the day and it saves that for all the conversions
