Whoever invented the electric blanket deserves a medal

@CobaltVelvet@octodon.social It took me longer than I care to admit for me to realise you were talking about the stuff what comes out of maple trees and not @squirrel

@kibi "I got out of bed this morning and YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED NEXT!"

Oooh, this is a very nice looking watch

timex.com/browse/collections/m

Re-issue of the Timex Marlin, hand-wound mechanical, 34mm size

Only thing that puts me off is that it uses a Seagull ST6 movement which I know little to nothing about and information about it is pretty scarce

Oh, also the fact that I don't need a new watch right now and I'm actually saving up for a different one

@noelle Hey, I'm... closer to 30 than I am to 25 and I've done bugger all

I'd do a me one year ago vs. me now post but I don't have any pictures of me a year ago and can't really be bothered taking one of me now

@blackle@dev.glitch.social but... don't the tent poles count as bones?

@cypnk I'd probably just attach the bottle opener to the forearm so it can be used without having to grip it in robot fingers

Besides, why have a cool cybernetic arm if you can't use it like a swiss army knife?

The general consensus seems to be:

1) 20th Century Fox owns the "Alien" franchise.
2) "Alien" xenomorphs are born from a Queen.
3) Disney is buying 20th Century Fox.
Therefore
4) Xenomorphs are Disney princesses.

@HTHR@cybre.space I'm disappointed you didn't hide the Tim Allen AEUHHH? in there somewhere

@bringles@glitch.social @edensaesthetic they're like beanie babies

except digital, and you can breed two together to get another one

On the @squirrel stream I look away for 5 seconds and return to a screen announcing "It's MR PANTS!"

Yep, that seems about right
