@squirrel I was tempted to do that one earlier but I thought I'd leave it for you

knifey

@bea @vfrmedia @codl those are a thing, but I've never seen one used for opening boxes

@blackle@dev.glitch.social those look like some comfy eggs

@Efi *scrapes up all the gay bits and puts them all together in a gay bucket*

@bea @codl I don't remember the last time I opened a box with a box cutter

@Jo I vaguely recall someone's chimney cracking a bit but that's about it

Yes, that was national news, someone's chimney needed some repairs

@shekkiesqueaks Bank of England is switching to new polymer £10 notes so the old papery ones are going out of circulation on the 1st

In order to make sure the old ones do go out of circulation they stop being "proper" money on the 1st which effectively means you can't buy things with them, you can still switch them for new ones after then by sending them to the Bank of England and they'll send back new ones

@noelle @BryanLunduke Is he still going on about the freeBSD no-rp'd-physical-contact-without-consent thing?

Ah crap, as a reminder to to all the Brits here, the old £10 notes stop being legal tender on the 1st of March so you'll want to spend/change them to the new notes before then

Looks like I'll have to make a trip up the bank

@squirrel we should totes have a bbs

A telnet one would be easier to set up but I kinda want to properly dial into one... anyone have a spare phone line?
