SINN! New Sinn watches!

First, a 104 with a green metallic dial, not much new to say about this aside from 104s are good

Second, 2 new diver chronos, the 206 and the 206 ARKTIS, 300m water resistance on both, Sinn's Ar dehumidification tech on both, but the ARKTIS has added temperature resistance and is reliable between -45 and 80 degrees

These are accurate to ±1 second PER YEAR

For context, your standard quartz movement is ±15 seconds per month

If a bunch of chickens that were in a cage being transported in a short-bodied car decided to stage a revolution would that be a coupe coop coup?

Not entirely sure about white gold for a field-y looking sports watch but let's face it it's not ever going to see anything approaching hard use

🐙 !!! BASELWORLD STARTS TOMORROW !!! 🐙

I'll be a very happy octopus seeing all the new watches that are coming out/being announced

"Sinn Féin criticised for 'England get out of Ireland' banner"

bbc.com/news/uk-northern-irela

I... what? Have people somehow not been aware that "England shouldn't have political power over Ireland (specifically northern Ireland in this case)" is Sinn Féin's whole thing?

Is computerfairi.es powered by renewable energy? We have no idea, it's in a cloud somewhere

What we do know is that @maple is powered by batteries

I love how all these manufacturers of tiny feature phones market them as "low radiation!" instead of "it's tiny and we couldn't figure out where to put a decently sized aerial"

clothing made out of nanometer scale magnetic core memory

"oh damn, I saved that file on my other jacket"

alternate universe where computer memory never progressed from magnetic cores but we got really good at making them tiny so we all walk around with sheets of lots and lots of tiny rings with tiny wires going through them

TIL that "methylated spirits" in USAian is "denatured alcohol"

kinda glad I didn't find that out by walking into a hardware store in the US and asking "where's your meths?"

avengers: endgame speculation

Hawkeye didn't really intend to get a mohawk but his barber was mid-haircut when snapped and he had to improvise

Newt0n: I invented calculus!

Leibniz is typing...

I want some of these keycaps

It'd be like high-fiving @maple with every keypress
