i just realized that today is tuesday and not wednesday and am elated

however they've removed all guidelines of what is abusive, said they'll only pump the breaks on stuff that's actually law-breaking, and this is on top of other behavior - like wanting to remove the report feature entirely, their chat client having google analytics in it for awhile (and, to me, crucially, NOT TELLING CUSTOMERS), etc - idk if they can be trusted.

of course i'm sure that in two months everyone will have changed their avatars and usernames and i'll be Completely Lost again but *until then*

i definitely miss my community friend-group on tumblr, a lot. i might pop my head in and see if there are any discords to scoop me up in. it's natural; most of those people i've known for... jesus, 8 years at least, maybe 10. we all landed on tumblr after being ousted from fucking foopets lmfao.

but it's nice to like... know the neighborhood a little more, and feel comfortable in it.

@Shrigglepuss if they have a customer service number or email, i would try there first

then you can also explain "i am cancelling because x", which might be valuable. (probably only via email though, if they are outsourcing who is the customer service phone mook.)
