@packbat haha! we feel called out, cos we play stuff like the Nimzo-Larsen and reversed Indian games as White because they tend to let us put our pieces where we like, avoiding mixing it up early. though Reti said this was bad for novice players

oh yeh this reminds me that one day I wanna try seeing if I can modify a "tuning fork" quartz crystal for use as a nanobalance. take advantage of the fact that it's got balanced tines, maybe...I'd need to study just how these things are used electrically

tbh the last time i shopped for something at e.l.f. i got a 'take a survey!' and just went on a screed about how their web designers should feel bad, because the number of clicks and scrolls to get to a thing i clicked to see was absurd. it's like the internet is full of pushy salespeople swarming you, when you just want to look at the shelf
