I've been trying to redraw some of my earlier pixel art with higher detail for practice. I think before I start attempting detailed backgrounds at all I should get to where I feel okay with detailed foregrounds, since backgrounds usually involve much bigger pictures. Foregrounds are more about a manageable 16x16 I'm more comfortable with, next to other such tiles.

Tomorrow I will find out if Save-A-Lot's Jello knockoff really is pretty lousy or if I just prepared it wrong last time. I don't have super high hopes, especially as that whole place gave me bad vibes.

@Chel My Steam account also uses a very old name, but since it's not shown to anyone I'm going to take that as a plus because no one's getting into my account

@Chel burgers were very easy when I had a George Foreman but now I always have to worry about cooking the inside enough. When it's a bunch of loose meat on the stove it's all in plain sight right in front of me. I'll have to try that recipe sometime.

@Chel I use premade sauce but I'm open to trying to make my own someday. Sounds like it could taste better from being fresher.

@wolfcoder and as a player my absolute most fun moments are applying insane cartoon or video game logic to whatever I'm doing and just letting creativity shine, which is exactly what I want to do and what I want to get out of RP.

I guess I feel inhibitions most of the time when other people are more serious and it often looks like even basic flight skills would trivialize a lot of things, but I guess in those situations it's on the DM to adjust things or take them into account later.

Meat acquired! And bread because I desperately needed that too. Now I can make sandwiches.

I don't feel like I'm "bad" at roleplaying anymore. I just haven't had good opportunities that worked for me and/or I worried too much about ruining whatever I was participating in with unexpected solutions.

Gonna make sloppy joes tomorrow, if I can pick up meat! They're a lot easier to know I cooked correctly than burgers are, and they don't suffer the problem my burgers do where I Just Can't Stop Adding Pickles and making the inside of the burger a sliding wet mess.

A lot of the remixes in Brawl would work great at a club or something; they're so energetic

I really don't like how Sunday is *the* go-to day for a huge chunk of the people I know to have weekly obligations, since it leaves me with a day where I'm very much alone and most places are very quiet... Overall I'm not having a very good day today.

Alternatively, I wish I got invited to things once in awhile.

@XerTheSquirrel It's been about half a year and only two companies (out of many applications) have wanted interviews, and those led to nothing, and it's making me feel like I wasted my time going to college.

I've since given up on being able to find a computer science job and having other types of jobs not want me either is really disheartening.

Well, ALDI hasn't called back. I hope it's not a situation where just no one wants me, not even grocery stores, and I have to settle for some horrible job that no one wants. I have a degree I worked hard for.
